Nobility

A king's crown, shining bright;
Bruised and battered, a victorious fight.
The certain smile from a willing sacrifice,
A simple bow would suffice.

A knight fighting for right and good:
Frustrated, lonely, misunderstood.
The farmer's tithe given gladly,
A child's courage in a fevered malady.

A hard life lived in service
Always strives with a single purpose.
The old man searching for the little boy lost
Finds and saves his life, though his own it cost.
